The Hideaway at Flaxmill Bay is one of the candidates among campgrounds for campers. Powered sites start from $35 - $50 not probably as cheap as the other parks but the place is hard to leave. Hideaway at Flaxmill Bay is located at the Cooks Beach end of scenic Flaxmill Bay, directly opposite Shakespeare Cliff and a short nature walk to Lonely Bay. The Hot Water Beach is one of the destination of Coromandel, if you intend to find a park closer to Hot Water Beach, it must be the Hot Water Beach Holiday Park only opened its doors in 2008 and has been earning a reputation.
