Winter

Graham went down to Thames last week to view a rotten Wharf at Coromandel. He didn't make Coromandel as there was a nasty accident and the road was closed for the entire afternoon so he had to turn around and come back to Auckland. Hence he is off to Coromandel again next week.
He waited at the site of the accident for a while in the hope that he could get through but with all the Police, Ambulances, Helicopter, Fire Engines it was a no go.
There were no fatalities thankgoodness.

Winter is here as you can see by the frosts. It has been so cold and for Eastern Beach to get a frost it means it is extremely cold. We do not like cold like this.
The photo is taken out of the upstairs bedroom showing the frost on the neighbours roof.

The other photo is of Ripon, it shows how well those plants up by the street are growing.
The photo of the garden is a bit sad as there was a hail storm last Saturday at Meadowbank and the hail was so deep that Kathryn could not drive down Claires driveway. The vehicle started to slide sidways which was very scary as it is such a steep drive.

Winter is not a good look!!!!
