hello all.

Sorry this is a bit late, been out of internetness for a while!

My last few days in New Zealand were pretty quiet in comparison to the rest of the trip - not really that hard i guess! Hopped back on the Kiwi bus for the penultimate time, sat with a lot of newbies who had just started their trip; im like a veteran now! Although i was having issues staying awake on the bus, but i was eventually awaken by the beautiful sun that was shining in Paihia, it was real pretty up there! So i whipped off my like 10 leayers of clothing and sat in the sun and ate my lunch very happily! that was until i broke out in the most horrible itchy rash (see facebook pics!) Did not know WHAT it was, so i went bombing down to the pharmacy and layered myself in antihhistamines. And as quickly as it had arrived, it had gone! Random! But anyhooo

Had a little more excitement in the afternoon aboard the exitor, a happy medium between a jet boat and a rowing boat for me. As i was in the Bay of Islands, i thought i really should get out on a boat and have a nosey around. It was pretty cool, little bumpy on the way out there, on our 'extreme' seats at the front, lol definite air liftage at times, but fun all the same. Saw the 'hold in the rock', another geographical wonder and then hopped off the boat in Russel, just across the water from Paihia, was going to go for a wander, perhaps to the old pub the Duke of MArlborough but i got side tracked by the smell of soup and tea so i sat by the water and whiled away the afternoon, was lovely :-)

Had a surprising;y fun evening later, bit of bar olympics, involving limbo, find and seek and killer pool. Fun times :-)

Chilled out the next day then headed on back to Auckland; spent my last day doing a wee harbour cruise as i had hardly seen any of Auckland; theres really not a lot to see tbh. Saw a few of the many volcanoes in and around the area, then bumped into one of the girls i did my bungy jump with in New Zealand so spent the evening catching up with her and potting the black ball in pool. grrrrr

Had a slightly hairy evening, a emergency warning alarm went off in the middle of the night at our hostel (all the more scary as we were on 11th floor!) It made a siren noise then goes 'This is the emergency warning system, Please wait for further instruction.' Not cool! Then it just stopped. We were like waaahhht. But i guess im still alive now so nothing too bad musta happened?!

Up the nest morning to head off to Fiji baby! wwoooooop! Sat right near the front so had good views of the tv and like first off. Greeted in nadi by the most feminine but lovely looking guy iv ever seen and then i was pointed in the right direction (once my bag had finally arrived and i had been whizzed thru their very lax customs) and then it was off to Aquarius on the beach! :-)

To be continued..... woop!
