WOW! This place was the maddest joint to spend my first few months of Auckland in. It is an old hotel that was being run by ACB as accommodation for their staff and random travellers who were staying long term. You get your own room and bathroom, but the kitchen and laundry and lounge rooms were all share. As it was an old hotel it was massive and the commercial kitchen was used to cook many a meal for friends and parties. It is Art Deco style and built in that era. My Japanese Brother lived in the old bar and it is so beautiful. I am posting many pics on here to show you how amazing it was. It's just sitting there now as the lease has run out and is such a shame to be wasting away. I'd say the next owners will redo it and all the beautiful artwork and style will die. So please appreciate the pictures and I will alwyas remember the many different travellers from around the world that we shared this amazing place with.
I dream of a world where we can all live as one in peace and harmony and learn from each other. I am on my spiritual path now and life keeps amazing me every day. From the words of the great man himself: "One Love, One Heart, Lets Get Together and Feel Alright"... full info
