Ka mate! Ka mate!
I bought a ticket to go and see the All Blacks-France rugby match in Eden Park just 2 days before the game.
I took the cheapest seat so I was in the nice and noisy part of the stadium. Great atmosphere!
It was very one sided with the ABs nearly always playing in the French team's side. The game ended 42-11 for New Zealand, and they didn't even seem to be pushing very hard. But I must say that many of the best French players stayed at home because of club duty.
After the game, I met some French sports journalists who had been in the French team's dressing room; they said the players looked battered like they'd never seen them like that before and predicted a bigger defeat for the second test match a week later.
Ka ora! Ka ora!

Probably the only ones in town who hardly knew about the match...
