Got the airport shuttle at 8.30am, good job we got it early as it went on a right detour picking different people up from hostels/hotels.
Boarded our Quantas flight at 11.30am, really nice plane,nice food and gave u lots of free drinks.
Got to Auckland at 4.40pm, thought we would just get a taxi because we didnt think it would be that far away, it ended up being miles away and cost us $80....Waaat a ripe off!!
Staying at Nomads Fushion right in the center of Auckland. Really nice hostel, with a bar/club,resturant, lounge,tv room, internet. As we were going into are room we met a couple of the guys who were in here, they were going for a jacuzzi,lol. We are in a 10 bed dorm....shock!! the most beds so far and there isnt any room to swing a cat, they need to take a couple bunk beds out, theres about half a meter between each bed and everyone has soo much stuff,lol!!
Dumped all are stuff down and went to look around, we are a street off Queen Street you can see the Sky Tower from the end of the road.
Emailed a couple people about working in a vineyard picking grape,lol. There in the south island so hopefully we'll get to see abit of the south too.

Went to the Sky Tower today its only about 5minutes away from are hostel,inside downstairs, theres lots of resturants and they have a casino, we went into the casino and we got id,so we showed the guy and he was like 'no way Exeter' 'im from near Ashburton, small world aye!!
Went up the sky tower, it has a glass floor bit that you can walk over,at first its so so sceary because you are so high up and you can see right to the bottom! We had to hod onto the bar to walk over it first of all, we were such wimps,lol but then after a couple times it was fine and we had are pictures taken lying down on it, pretty spinny!!

Back at the hostel met everyone in are room properly, theres Joost, Emanuell, Marriella, Ugeen and Phil, we have a german couple but there very strange,lol! Went down to the bar and had some drinks whilst everyone was having food, in the hostel you get a free nightly meal but it comes on a sauser/plate thing or you can upgrade for about $3 for a bigger plate,lol, we decided to cook Chicken Fajita...yummy!! After we ate them we went back down stairs in the lift and this women got in after us and was like coor this lift really smells of garlic....haaa must of been are breath!!
Got back to are room and got ready to go out with everyone in are room. Went to the Globe Bar on the way out kirsty and emanuel was having there photo taken on the stairs by everyone in are room, then people were comming over asking who we were,lol Joost told them we were famous,lol and they actually believed him...haaaa! We all went to an arcade, we were acting like kids,hehe, messing around with the guns, on the dance mat so so funny!!
After our little bit of fun in the arcade we went to this really cool Belgium bar, which served really strong exspensive beer in these really cool glasses, they had a different glass for for every drink, first we both had this beer that was so dark it looked like oil, tasted like oil aswell, hehe. Kirsty could'nt drink it so lewis had to have hers to,so then she started on the cherry beer...yummy!! Stayed here untill it closed and spent way to much money, but the place had a really good atmosfear so we didnt care how much we spent,lol!
On the way back to the hostel Kirsty and Marriella got into a road sweeper, pretending to drive it, the thing was so small,it only had one seat in it, the guy actually let them but they were in there shouting into the radio at some one who was on the other end... they were yelling Hellloooooo.....wooooooo!!! and this guy was shouting back 'who is this who is this' hehe then the man who let them in opened the door and told them to get out and that they were shouting at his boss...haaaa....naughty!!
Outside our hostel theres the biggest burger van weve ever seen called the white lady its the length of a road and it has a tractor its all lite up with loads of light....omg it does the best burgers weve ever tasted and they are MASSIVE!!! god we were all getting in such a mess eating it, was going every where because you just could'nt get your mouth around it! and Joost was only filming us eating on my camera, it was so so grose!!!
Finally got back to our hostel, still acting like kids making so much noise, we got told loads to be quiet by people coming out of there rooms,hehe. So we decided to all take our quilts downstairs to the tv room and sleep for the night.
Lew started to tell a joke about a centerpede and none of us found it that funny, then emanuel started to say it it his french accent it was the funniest thing we have ever heard...he was like 'heeey eeh Centerpede, u wana come to the fucking pub with mee uhhh...ohhh centerpede' its one of those time when you just have to of been there, it was so so funny we were all crying because it sounded so funny with his french accent.
We stayed downstairs untill 6 in the morning, Marriella and Ugeen had to check out at 10..haha!! got in to our room and the german couple were up and packed ready to leave, they gave us such a dirty look when we got in and didnt say good bye,hehe!

24th Nov 08

Marriella and Ugeen left this morning, we couldnt even lift our head to say byeee because we were soo hungover and tired!!
Manged to finally get up because we had to sort out a bank account and a ird number so we can start working...woooop!!!
Ahhhhh it was rainging loads today, just like being back in England,lol went and booked our bus+boat ticket to the south island.
They had a killer pool comp down at the bar so lew all the lads joined in and Phil won, $50 bar tab...wooo wooo Beers on Phil!!!

25th Nov 08

We were suppose to check out today at 10, but we were still in bed when the cleaners came in to change the beds etc,hehe....ummmm!! we got up about 12 and just made the bed so it looked like it had been changed! Joost said we could just leave our stuff in the room and he would meet us back here later, because the bus wasnt untill 7.50pm.
Went to the harbour, which is pretty nice, loads of luch boats, bars and reasturants, then had a look around this garden area near the hostel, it had a giant tree in it, which you could actually stand in the middle of it!!
Got Mc Donald and bought Emanuel and Joost some Cookies from Mrs Higgins they are sooo nice, you can smell them right down the road!
Got back to the room and there were two new people in outrbed.....haahaaaaa, there gona be sleeping in a bed that hasnt even been changed.....wooops...what they dont no wont hurt them,hehe!!
Really going to miss everyone from our room :( its the first room where kirsty has actually liked everyone,hehe and how many rooms have we been in now.....shit loads!! hehe!!
Got a bus down to Wellington then a ferry over to Picton in the south island....18hrs woooo wooooo!!!!
