Our taxi was driven by Liza. She was born in NZ to Rarotongan parents. She decided she would bring her teenage boys back to the island. She wanted them to be independent - learn how to fish or get coconuts if they were hungry or thirsty. Really interesting woman; we sat in her taxi for some time after we got back to our accommodation - unfortunately another job
came up.
