hey guys,
just about to leave Oz tomorrow!Doing this and trying to pack away all the rubbish we have accumaleted since we have been here!just cant find a spot for my digeredoo!Had loads of fun in Oz but looking forward to moving on.
The East coast was cool but was just full of annoying 18 year old kids who were just up for getting hammered.We had crap weather all the way up to noosa but the sun came out and we were able to get on the beach.
Whitsundays was class apart from the skipper of our ship who was an absolute ******!Just really rude but snorkelling was amazing and the isalnds are cool.The islands off queensland were probably the best bit of the east coast.A bit like barbados in ways!
Not doing much writing as hard to condense two months into words so we thought we would do lots of pictures(Its a bit easier for you lot aswell)

Glad your having a fab time... you are giving me and phil inspiration of where to go when we go travelling!!

Wow, what fantastics pics. Looks like I need to go around Oz before I venture overseas. ... I'm sure you guys are having a ball in SEA... We had a bit of British weather down here with snow in the mts and hail in Melb! then last week back to 38deg! Only in Melb... Enjoy the rest of your trip. X O Edna

Dunk Island: Main Beach
The main beach of the resort. Me and Rich did this island circuit walk which goes right up the top to the lookout and then all the way around the island through really cool forests

The view from the top of our climb. It was hard work getting up there but well worth it!
Cape Tribulation
As far north as we went in Queensland. A real tropical paradise...where the rainforest meets the barrier reef. Really hot here and loads of mozzies!
Jungle Surfing!
In the Cape Trib jungle we went surfing...flying through the tree canopy attached to high wires! Very good fun! We each had nicknames (on our helmets) - Rich was Dick Dastardly (Very appropriate) and ... [more]
Emmagen Creek, near Cape Tribulation
A beautiful creek where you can swim. Water was a bit shallow when we were there unfortunately.
Aborigine Walk
We took a walk through the Daintree Rainforest with an aborigine guide. They are such amazing people. Unfortunately their culture has been really ruined by the influence of alcohol and drugs as they h... [more]
Anyone for a dip?...
You saw these everywhere up the East Coast. Further south it was just jellyfish in the water, but the further north you got there were sharks and crocs too! nice eh!
Fitzroy Island
An island off Cairns with beautiful view. I went there on my own whilst Rich went snorkelling in Green Island. I walked up to the summit for a brill view.
Fitzroy Island
From the beach at Fitzroy. It was here I did my first scuba dive....absolutely amazing!
Coral
Whilst snorkelling the Barrier Reef. Everything was much better in real life. the photos just dont do it justice at all
Blue Maori Wrasse
We saw two of these massive fish...one whilst snorkelling round the Whitsundays and one on the BArrier Reef. They came close enough for you to stroke them...they were really smooth and slimy! HUge!
Coral
Barrier Reef near Port Douglas. This was this mad blue spiky stuff..saw loads of it which had been damaged sadly.
Stingray,Stingray...dedederdederde!
Blue spotted stingray.Rich saw this one whilst snorkelling. Kept his distance tho! We saw a few altogether on our trips.
Kalbarri
These amzing gorges are part of the Kalbarri National Park. There were loads of flies here though and they all crawled up your nose and in your mouth! horrible!
