Hoy excursion a la Gran Barrera de Coral. A las 6 arriba, desayuno y a las 7 y media esta en el puerto. Embarque, papeleo eximiendo de responsabilidad a la compañia, y a las 8 y pico en marcha, a las 10 estabamos en el arrecife exterior. Despues de una chapa, al agua, hasta las 12. Luego nos han mandado embarcar a todos, nos han movido unos 500m a otra seccion del arrecife, y al agua otra vez, hasta las 2:30 o asi. Como suelo hacer con el esqui, he aprovechado cada minuto, asi que he estado en el agua mas de 4 horas, aleteando, buceando y demas. He acabado hecho polvo y con calambres, pero hay que aprovechar que estoy aqui. En el barco estaba todo el mundo tomando el sol, no tiene mucho sentido salir 40km a mar abierto para tomar el sol, el mismo sol que uno puede tomar en cualquier parque en Cairns. En el agua he visto peces mariposa de tipos distintos, peces ballestas de colores, peces loro de colores variado, varios peces payaso (conocidos como Nemos), y hasta un tiburon de arrecife. Muy buena la excursion. Despues de eso comprar algo de comida

Today excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. At 6 up, breakfast and 7:30 in the harbour. Some paperwork exonerating the company, and after 8 we start and at 10 we were in the outer reef. After a speech, in the water, until 12. Then they took us back in the ship, we have moved about 500m to another location on the reef, and to the water again until 2:30 or so. On the boat lots of people were just sunbathing, it makes little sense to go 40km in open sea just for sunbathing, one can do he same in any park in Cairns. In the water I've seen different types of butterfly fish, parrot fish of varied colors, several clown fish (known as Nemos), and even a reef shark. Very good trip. After that buy some food and go to hostel to pack my bags.
