Relaxing day at Barnett Gorge...

Drove further along the Gibb River Road and had lunch near a creek bed, it was absolutely boiling. We got to where we were spending the night really early, about 3pm, after driving over really rocky ground - 4WD powers activate!! We're completely in the middle of nowhere, which always kind of freaks me out (i'm definitely in the wrong country for that!). We walked down to the gorge nearby (we went the wrong way and i scratched my legs to shit) where we could have a swim and relax in the sun, reading and chatting. It was so nice just to sit and relax in one place for a change and not to have to set up camp in the dark. We had a really nice roast dinner cooked over the fire by Finn and an early night.
