That's right ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, apparently Mullets and Rat Tails are the "in" thing when it comes to guys hairstyles! Can you believe it!? It's probably one of the most disgusting yet entertaining things I have seen in a long while. We've even taken some pictures of ones...sick!
The other day though we saw one of the most beautiful mullets that anyone has ever laid eyes on! It was long and flowy and wait for it! Bright Red! Katy has quoted it as "the most majestic thing I've ever laid eyes on."
When you come to Perth, you literally hop in a time machine and warp back to the 1980s! I shit you not. The clothing style for one. The girls here must not have very good friends cause they let each other out of the house wearing the most unflattering things that either of us have ever seen. Some of the girls can pull it off but when most of the girls are a little tooooooo over weight...it's not a very pretty sight if you know that I mean.
Secondly...the hairstyles, as I mentioned above it's mullets and rat tails for the men and really really bad extensions for the ladies. Everything else in Perth has been fantastically 80s and I mean that in the best way possible =)
The weather here has been pretty crappy which is why we canceled our once awesomly planned out road trip. Perth weather can't decide if it wants to rain all day, part of the day, or not at all. It's quite frustrating actually. Any because of this we ***NEWS FLASH PEOPLE! DANA CARVEY FROM DUMB AND DUMBER JUST WALKED IN!!! WELL HIS HAIR DID ANYWAY*** decided to go to the Aquarium yesterday. Hands down, a bit better than the Monterey Bay Aquarium if you can believe that. Though it cost $26 to get in, it was pretty worth it. The jelly fish exhibit wasn't that awesome and neither was their "touch pool" which most of you know, I'm a big fan of however, the seal exhibit was the best. They had a male and a female and they both craved the attention of everyone watching. They were soooo adorable.
Well there you have it folks! Perth is wacky, insane, stuck in the 80s but we love it regardless.

That was the best trip to monterey. . . yay for the touch pools!!! Miss you guys and I'm glad youre having fun! Loved this entry on mullet sightings. . . kind of scary. Hey when r u headed to asia?

Now you know why I fit right in. When you think of a little wacky, insaide adn stuck in the 80's who comes to mind???
We leave on Tuesday for Bali and from there...who knows =)

Mullets and rat tails? Believe me, they were scary in the 80's when they were "in" and all the girls had the farrah fawcett hairdo. Sounds like Perth is a time machine. We're happy to hear you're having so much fun. Everyone says HI!! Be good!
