Change of Plans

Rene and I were hopping in his car to head to the Palidrome (?) and it wouldn't start! Such a bummer. So needless to say we didn't end up going to meet the cyclists and talk about the future plans. I think we're aiming to head out next Tuesday instead. I sure hope so, I was really excited about it.

Also, today and tomorrow I am helping out with practical/final exams ALLLLL day. 8am-4pm we're talking. Today I think I am just timing, but tomorrow I actually get to assess the taping technique's part of lab, so that will be fun. Then tomorrow (friday) night I am going to Annette's to watch Harry while she has a meeting and then just stay over night because Saturday I guess the fella she went on a date with before wants to go on another one. Annette suggested something adventurous so he said hiking! But since he is bringing his kids, Annette wants to take Harry, and she said he would like for me to come to kind of keep Harry entertained/keep her company since there will be so many people around. She said I get to be her adopted daughter. Haha, that's TWO offers to be adopted over here... Uh oh, Mom ;)

Anyway. She just turned 46 Tuesday.

So, Saturday I'm hiking. Sunday I can't decide now if I want to go to the Aquarium or the Beach again. I guess we'll see what the weather is like and how tired I am from the weekend. We're picking a longer and tougher hiking route this time, she said. :]
