jus like in all the books
The treetop walk looks just like I would have imagined, given Bill Bryson's description! AMAZING. Careful pullin' a Captain all that way up, though!

The Captain
is awesome. I think I will start posing like that in all my pictures from now on. It's also just really funny to imagine someone saying "Hey Andy, do the Captain!" and you doing a hilarious interpretation of it, with a giant goofy smile on your face. About photos in general, it annoys me a little bit how the people in my study abroad program are Constantly taking photographs... Sometimes it is nicer to not act like a total tourist 24/7, eh? But it definitely is cool to have a camera so you can take pictures to show the folks back home (or in Peru, as the case may be). And I enjoyed my photographic tour of Southern Australia, so hey. Actually...
the phrase that is so often (mis)quoted is expressed more accurately as: "a GOOD picture CAN be worth a thousand words." Fortunately your photographs, and the captions, are good ones. Thanks for the tour... and I hope you'll get back to those beaches sometime.
