September, The Never Ending Bday Celebrations

So yup, I'm still here in Freo. Still working at the pasta place, still living at the hostel. Things are good, as Roy here would say "it's absolutely average". The itch to start moving again is coming back that's for sure. But still trying to save up some money to hit the road. I'm starting to look for other jobs now, one that'll pay more nad have more hours. And, also starting to look for a flat to live in, as it ends up being cheaper than living in the hostel, and help out with the funds as there's always something going on here. Well this month are the birthdays. We are 6 of us celebrating this week. Last night there was a big bday bash for Josh (one of the staff members) and Rob (who turned 50). What a night, I've never seen this place so packed with people. Some of the lads here decided to get good 'ol Rob a stripper for his 5-0... Oh my! Ended up going to bed at 3am but the party kept going 'til at least 8:00am, when I was woken up by the jukebox still playing in the courtyard, people playing cricket and still on the bottles.. Ah good times!

Tonight everyone is heading to Steph, Adam & Emma Jane's house-warming party. I have to say that they are now THE poshest backpackers I've ever met. You should see this flat. It's very executive style with massive windows overlooking the harbour, leather couches, just packed with all the good stuff. And to say that it only costs them a little over 100$ a week for this! I'm getting ripped off here man! :o) Nah, it's still good times and stories to tell later on by being at the hostel.

We may be heading to Margaret River again next week as it's a long weekend coming up. A few friends now live and work there, so a big group of us might go to get away.

Anyhoo, just a quick entry to say that I'm still alive and kicking. I'll be putting up some more pics in the near future. I'll let you all know when that's done.
