Day out in Melbourne

Sorry I missed a couple of days but just couldn t get internet from where we are staying.

We are visiting Melbourne today having come up from Franklin,on the train to avaoid the stress of getting round the city on their extortianate toll roads and parking in the centre at 12 $ an hour! ( mind you our nissan micro would not have looked good amongst the bentleys and porches and audi r8 s in the car park!

The weather is perfect, sunny with a good breeze and the city is very pleasant but ]'m not smitten as I,was with Sydney. We had an excellent tour of the Victoria House of Parliament and a Korean lunch ( not sure about that ) and now we are taking the tram to St Kilda's. Will,post photos on facebook.Tomorrow,we should be doing the Great Ocean Road.
