We went to a Neighbours night at a pub just down the road from where we are staying. We had dinner then went into the bar where "Libby Kennedy" sang a few songs. Then they brought out some of the other Neighbours cast members including; Karl Kennedy, Madge Bishop, Dylan Timmons, and Sindi, oh and dont forget Bouncer the dog! The cast members came round to everyone and had photos taken - they are all pretty short apart from " Karl". Then Karl's band - The Waiting Room came on and performed some songs. Unfortunately we had already got through several bottles of wine and a couple of vodkas so i was very drunk and ended up leaving early and getting a taxi back. I still can not remember some of that night but i remember meeting the Neighbours cast so thats good. The day after everyone was hungover so we just chilled out all day.

After our chill out day we were up at 6am to start our Great Ocean Road day tour. It was such a good day! We went to a place called Torquay and spotted some wild Kangaroos lazing about in a field - they

were big ones too! Then we visited Bells beach which is a good surf beach. I dont know if anyone remembers the T.V. series ' Round the twist' but we went to the lighthouse where that was filmed which was pretty cool. We stopped at the memorial arch which is a log arch with a sign saying the Great Ocean Road and then we walked along the beach there. We had lunch in Apollo Bay which was a pretty town. The weather is being kind to us today as well because it is warm and sunny so we were able to sit outside to eat lunch. Driving along the windy great ocean road right on the side of the cliffs we passed some trees where we spotted some wild Koala's and some of them were actually awake (very rare), we were able to get very close and take photos. Next we went for a bit of a trek through a rainforest, and saw "The big tree". Our next stop was the 12 Apostles which are some famous rock formations that poke out of the ocean. There were actually only 11 originally and 2 have fallen down since then so there

are now 9 of them. Me, Katie, and Sarah went up in a helicopter to fly over the 12 apostles, it was great i have always wanted to go in a helicopter and now i can say i have done it. The pilot was swerving and it was a little scary but fun!

We moved on then to Loch Ard Gorge where there was a shipwreck years ago. 54 people were on the boat but only 2 of them survived because they were lucky enough to be swept into the gorge. I found several pieces of glass on the beach from the shipwreck, you can tell they are from the shipwreck because of the thickness. Next to the gorge you can also see Island Arch which is an arch rock formation in the ocean. After seeing the sunset there we started to drive back and stopped at Colac where we had dinner at a noodle bar (that is also a place featured in Neighbours). Then we drove the 2 hour journey back home, getting back at 9pm.

Madge Ramsey is still alive?!
Man! This is *big* news. I remember being jealous of Madge when I was in the first year at senior school because she had a deeper voice than me! Is she really still in neighbours? That has to be almost a century in one job. In other news: Eden won a cup today in the basingstoke schools science quiz! He's totally made up! Everyone says hi. XX
