This past weekend was a long weekend because Labour Day was observed on Monday in New South Wales. Four of my friends and I (Patrick, Oonagh, Lizzie, and Maxim) decided to take a road trip to Byron Bay, about 10 hours to the north of Sydney. However, on Saturday when we were getting ready to leave we saw that the weather was going to be bad in Byron, so instead we decided to head 10 hours in the opposite direction to Melbourne. I started driving first on the road trip and after a few minutes of being extremely nervous, I got more used to driving on the left side of the road and the right side of the car.
