to be continued....
so the dreams of my three some vanishes as quickly as the echoing sound of a hotty pooping less than 2 feet away from me......anyway back on track. After my disappointing shower. I hottied up and went out for a lovely meal and some great wine. Expensive, but it was worth it. Traveling by myself has been good. People feel sorry for me and come over and talk to me. i have met some great locals this way. The local Shiraz here was fabulous. Unfortunalty to tired and a little tipsy to remember the label. Bck to my room and slept like a baby.... sort off.
Next day I took my time hitting the showers. Kind of threw my hat in the door before plunging in. Took a walk in the wrong direction and ended up making a build your own adventure day..... my regina girls can understand the uniquness of this kind of experience. Ended up at bondi junction with neat coffee shops and cafes. Took the bus to Bondi Beach. What a place....... as i feared for the locals lives as they surfed and nearly drowned.... i was hoping that I could resesitate a few...... huba huba!! Lots of hot people, with hot taned muscualr bodies and then a few fatties. Once i got their i would use my regualr startegy..... lay beside someone bigger than me...... its an optical illusioin..... no such luck so instead i parked beside the europeans.... pretty women with great bodies and then a shag rug trying to consume their bathing suite bottoms. Why the bottoms... shouldn't they just wear the rug.
Then lets go top liss ( which reminded me of rasins) complimented with hairy armpits.... being a white beached whale on the sand was the least of my worries when laying beside that attraction
Maintenance is not keep here... note to self. A long day of creeping on the hotties hoping to get a glimps and then a 3.5 km up hill (all the way walk back to Cogge Bay).
Went out for drinks with some girls from my room. they were nurse from Ottawa... I did not realize untill later that they were nauhgty nurses. ditched them quickly and ran off witht the Irish.... so far my favorite accents and people. not quite conditioned well enought to hang with them.. but with a little bit of practise I can have the whole fighting, drinking, loving thing down pat. Well I know i have two of the three cased... depending who you are will determine wich three!!!!
Day three was a quick rise and off to the airport. Nothing special that day but an airport and into Melbourne. Went shopping at this great outlet mall and back to the hostel. Sat in the common area and chated with the children..... oh my god am i old....... i would have to raise them first to violate them later.. not what i had in mind. So grandma decided to go out and about in to this fantastic town to listen to live music ( which melburne is known for) in a ....... Irish bar across from the law school. Moma think's her luck is going to change.
Grungy kind of band with a mixed bag of trick for patrons. Ended up sitting with a young group of kids from the hostial.... the whole time keeping my eye on the prize. got a bit of a jag on and then approached then men in suites...... Confidence was not an issue.... a dirty shirt and a lived in pair of shorts plus a hat to hide the hair did not have as much charm as i thought it would..... plus the babysitting club i was sitting with also did not increase my status..... we can only guess what their reaction was ....... there shocked and sympathetic faces towards me were pricesless....."oh what, you want to visit with me, thats so cute. Come back during your break from busing tables and we will humor you maybe".... Note to self. do not approach proffesionals when you look like you crawled out of the trenches.
Rejection is a lot easier to swallow with a couple shoots with the babysitting club and my steller moves in the mosh pit. I fianlly decide to travel home and followed a group of suites down the street. This also happened to be one of the suites that refused to get out of my way when carrying a tray of drinks... those things are expensive on backpackers budget. I asked him politely to move three time and then I showed him. opps!!!!!! any way .... i could here them talking and you will never guess were they were from......USA.. go figures. So I stirke up a conversation and school the one in manners. His remark is I am sorry I did not realize you are Canadain.... WTF... so that changes how you treat people. I then get slightly rude and asked "so which natural resource are you here to steal" and another shocker OIL!!!
I do not know if tommorow can beat a night of babysitting, rejection, humilliation and scolding... on a high note the band was great, the beer got me drunk and I do not have to go to work tommorow....
Gone to nit
Love Grovin Grandma!!!!!!
