We are about to head off on a trip in our wonderful motorhome Shazza! Only two sleeps to go and we will set off on Friday morning, early I hope, but knowing us I would say about 10.30am will be the on the road time. Trying to remember everything we need, and Pete is trying to put the house in the trailer on the back! Just so looking forward to being on the road and stopping where we feel like. Really amazing motor home with everything that opens and shuts and Pete is a great driver which makes my job of sitting up the front and watching the scenery very easy. There is only 1 week to go and Team Thailand is excited and ready to go!! Poor GOAT has had his wisdom teeth out today and he is a sorry sight, but by next Sunday he should be fit and ready to go!! After a great dinner at Nick & Ash's house, Team Thailand went through their final checklist and made sure they are all organised for the big trip in 10 days time!! We are all so excited and looking forward to a warm holiday with lots of rest, relaxing and if you ask Hayden and Nick "Partying". We have all got our team names and have wonderful singlets designed by Brooke who is our "Loser" friend who doesn't get to come but we all thank her very much for her great designs. We are on our countdown for our family holiday to Phuket. The team is made up of: Me - Sandra Jenny Nick Ash Hayden Erin Tracy Brooke - Poor Brooke not coming with us but the designer of our Team logo, so she is part of the team left at home!! Happy Tom Day everyone!! Hope this blog finds you well. It's Tom day and it's time for my journey to Ferntree Gully!! Got up had some raisin toast (mmmmm) and was luck enough to get a lift in to the City with Karen and her friend Beck. They were doing some hair and make up for the Logies - I think it's a bit like the NTA's in the UK (National Television Awards). Once in the city I got a taxi to the train station and I swear I've never felt so under prepared in my life!!!!! I went to the window to ask for a ticket and the lady just handed me a $3.20 one..... looking at the price I asked her if that would actually get me back from Ferntree Gully and not stuck ... read more

Yes, we are still in wonderful Ferntree Gully..... And not happy about it. Our flight was cancelled on Saturday and we have been rescheduled to fly on Thursday 22nd April, now arriving in Rome on the 23rd April. We have been confirmed on the flight for Thursday, so long as the flight is actually going. Trying to be positive, but I must admit I am having trouble keeping enthusiastic! We have managed to change our return flights so that we can extend our stay for the days we have lost at the start in Burgundy, France, which cannot be a bad thing. Here we are only 12 sleeps to go! Once again we have got together to countdown the days until we go. All the cases have been packed with Peter winning the prize for being the best packer. The girls are all secretlly pleased that he has lots of space in his case, as that means we can sneak things in that wont fit in our cases! (Shhh don't tell Peter). We are organised now Kevin (Sandra's dad) is picking Jenny and Sandra up on Saturday 17th April at 10.00am. (Mind you the plane doesn't go until 3.30pm but we have all decided that we would rather be out at the airport early!)
