Hi Everyone,
I thought I would get this travel blog thing up and running before I get on the road (then in the sky).
It is three days until my big journey across the sky, and I have been spending the last week back in Creswick. And the town has been kind to me! In getting me ready to take on the freezing temperatures in the UK, the weather here has been stormy and bordering on cold. I was thinking that I would probably get 40 degrees and then nearly die of climate change, touching down in the winter of London.
But, it has been nice to get out in the fresh air and go for some good Aussie bush walks. Ahhhhhhh, smell that Eucalypt!
Ok, so I do have some plans when I get to London... After flying to Sydney, then Frankfurt, then getting into Heathrow, James (brother) will be meeting me at the airport. I will then be taken to my new house (yes I have at least one thing planned), in which I will be living with James and 4 other Aussies I believe. But not to worry. It's not in the usual haunt that all the Australians go to, so it will actually be like I am in another country. Horray! And there are my plans!
Next time you will be hearing from me I will be on the other side of the world!
Cheers!
PS. That's to everyone who came out for drinks at the beer garden!
