Last day in Tassie and we drove up 30 minutes to Bonorong Wildlife Park. On entry, they gave us a bag of food to go hand-feed the kangaroos with. You walk around the corner and there, sprawled just about everywhere (with an amazing hilly backdrop) were every size of kangaroo imaginable. Some jumping around, others being fed and my favourites, the ones lying on their sides looking like they were missing a can of beer and tv. We fed them for a while and then joined a guided tour of the park. I make no secret of the fact that wombats are my absolute favourite Australian animal and today, I was privileged enough to meet the most amazing orphaned baby wombat.
