Ok................my blog entries are getting more and more spaced out. Life with two small children is crazy................though immensely rewarding. George is now in the terrible twos and starting to talk lots. Verity has piled on weight and is 4 months. Where time goes, I have no idea.
We have now been in our house for 10 months. It is a truly amazing house and we have some really great friends but our recent trip back to the UK has made us quite sad. We were quite happy out here before children but to see our children with their relatives back in the UK over Christmas has made us think............is it really worth it to be out here?? We both love our family to bits and it makes it very hard to deny our children their grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles....................
The UK was good. Worst Winter for 40 years but all an experience.................never seen snow like it. It was great to catch up with family. The houses seem very small and boxy but blimey they stay warm, unlike the badly insulated houses out here !!! George had great fun building snowmen and sledging.
Since Verity was born....life has
been a bit mad. She is now 4 months old and has grown very quickly. We have had lots of family to stay over here since she was born (and just before) and we have been back home, so reverting to dealing with two small children again on my own is interesting !!
I have found a running group.......................have tried to find one since I have been here............this one has just started and sounds great. I am in terrible shape at the mo but this is a great incentive to get back into it.
Summer back here is really lovely.......................George is getting out lots and has been very spoiled with all his toys. We are also fortunate in that we have found lots of new friends with similar aged children out here.
Can't really think of anything else....................I am off work until June though finding two children harder than paid work !!
Hope all well with everyone else,
Ivor is back at work this week - no children - he is now a secondary school teacher so it could be interesting. He thinks it's easy (Ho ho)

Glad you enjoyed your trip back to the UK! Can't believe how much snow they've had! Hope the homesickness goes away - it has a way of creeping up on you when you least expect it!!! Still planning on getting out to TAS to see you one day! Love Jo x
