Adelaide Day1

Kevin and Sue kindly took us to the Grand Chancellor Hotel near the airport on Saturday evening and we had a meal with them - the restaurant is not top of our list. We got up after a few hours sleep and got the shuttle to the airport and caught the early Air NZ flight to Adelaide. This was a long time in a cramped seat on an Airbus 320 but we made it. We checked in to our accommodation at Franklin St Apartments which is downtown Adelaide and spent the rest of the day buying some food and then exploring parks around the edge of the city centre. The day was clear and sunny so the fresh air did us good and we look forward to a good night of sleep. The apartment is very comfortable and conveniently located.
