We Are Sailing, We Are Sailing....

So we sailed! It was awesome, as was the weather : ) Major sunshine, the best so far, by a long way.

Adam went snorkelling, Becci did not. (for fish reasons). We saw turtles and stingrays, jellyfish, and a whole host of lovely fish. Hmmm. No whales though! (Apparently August is the seaon for this!)

The sea was blue, the sky was bluer and we lapped it up. good times had by all = D

The crew were slightly on the mental side, and mixed various concoctions of alcohol (that even Adam wouldn't put his name to) for us to drink through a snorkel bong. interesting.

The drink of choice (pretty much everywhere here!!) was GOON! (For us 'Poms' (I hate being refferred to as this btw) this is country manor, wine in a box etc) needless to say, we were happy.

The cabin was small and smelled, but what can u expect. As our captain rightly told us, that if we were'nt all such tight b#stards we'd have a nice boat like this (*points to luxury sailing boat*) for an extra $300 extra for the 3 days. no one moaned.

We swayed for at least a day after getting off the boat, normal, but always slightly worrying!!

We headed down to Hervey Bay after a swift drink with everyone before yet another overnight bus...
