Friday 2nd September, second day of spring - where has the year gone. We are moving to Andergrove Caravan Park ($224 per week for a semi permanent site) tomorrow as John starts his new job on Monday - painting of course - for Trevor Mackay. Saturday night the park managers put on a sausage sizzle with a bush poet for entertainment. We all brought our chairs to sit in a semi circle and be entertained and chat to other happy campers - the cost? A gold coin which goes to charity. The weather in Yeppoon was cloudy and cool with rain in the evening but we had a couple of nice drives and a look around town and surrounds. Like everywhere this trip, the ... read more
