Crystal Waters
Steve Irwin Way makes an appearance, just before the recently super famous ‘By Crikey’ Australia Zoo - on the way back perhaps, as with many things ha! Glass House Mountains too… And then Chenreizig Buddhist Temple in Eudlo and Eumundi Markets on Sunday - we got it all planned. But nothing is predictable really…

Eumundi Markets - HUGE markets and opportunity for shopping clothes and Demtel kitchen utensils and personal accessory-thingies. We got sucked in with a $20 twisty grater thing that we were just knowing would be different from all the rest of the home-shopping network style tools. Nup. A heap of crap it seems.

Rainbow Beach - Fraser Island Tour $140
Welcome to Fraser Island -the largest sand island in the world, 6km at it’s narrowest point, and apparently the only place in the world where tall trees grow strictly in sand. Over 100 lakes on the island with crystal clear waters! Created from when Gondwana mainland was originally joined over 400 billion years ago. 120 metres fromt eh mainland.
As soon as we came off the barge we immediately got bogged right in that pure sand. A huge sting ray right in at the shore catches my attention whilst waiting to be towed out of the sand.
“Just be aware of this folks. Don’t feed the dingoes. Feeding the wildlife will attract a $3000 fine so just be aware of that’s folks!”
75 mile beach, a shipwreck, clearer than clear river to wade in from the top of the boardwalk to the sea, flushing millions of litres of naturally filtered water per minute.
How glorious I cannot represent here...
