Did a long drive to catch up with some friends. The landscape is constantly changing. Driving from Concurry to Mt Isa the land went from open and flat to hilly and spotted with trees, nice change.

Boys had a good time three days of rest and recovery. We bought some yabby traps but only caught a couple of turtles.

We packed the car and went for a picnic by the lake with the Hutton’s. We had a couple of large birds hanging around and an eagle. So after dinner the boys decide to feed the birds. Not the best feeling to have large birds circling our heads.

Our last day we went to the Family fun park. It was amazing. They boys loved the water area and climbing area. A little oasis in the middle of a hot town.
