Continues 35 deg. Went on an aboveground mine tour today. Very worthwhile.

Mount Isa Mines

They dig up copper, lead, silver and zinc in vast quantities. Each year they take out about 6.2 million tonnes of copper ore and 5.1 million tonnes of lead-zinc ore.

They have recently started digging out this mine which will go to a depth of 800metres.
