Our home for three days on the GBR

I'd recommend Diving Cairns to anyone looking to go diving from Cairns. we ended up choosing a three day liveaborad with ProDive Cairns and it was FANTASTIC!

We didn't have the best of starts as we weren't picked up (following confusion as to where we were staying) however, the day quickly got much better!

There were 32 of us plus crew on the boat and we had the opportunity to do four dives today. Sars and I only did three but they were amazing. On the first dive we say a White Tipped Reef Shark - cool! And the dives got better and better!!!

Today also saw me complete my 50th dive! What a great place to do it!

We didn't do the night dive and those that did faced Box Jellyfish and Worms on the way back to the boat!

After redundancy in 2006 (Sars) and the need for a new challenge in 2007 (PJ) we've decided to head down under... On Wednesday 7 February we headed off to Australia, New Zealand and the USA to see some sights and catch-up with some friends.
