What an amazing weekend we all had.
We met Lee Pritchard working at the Airport Link in Brisbane, what a great find it was.
Lee and Christopher invited us down to their house just before we left Brisbane to the luscious area of Paradise Point where they stay.
We arrived on Saturday lunchtime and Lee drove us around the Island of Sovereign Hill which is where all the multi million dollar houses are - how jealous were we. The houses were massive and the boats were even bigger!
We then drove around the gorgeous little town of Paradise Point which has the feel of a little holiday town.
We then arrived at Lee's stunning house which is on the canal so ofcourse they have their own boat docked out on their jetty out the back and we were then introduced to the puppies, Moet and Chandon ( Who actually are 10 years old but are still little puppies). Gorgeous and adorable dogs and ofcourse we both wanted to keep them.
Ofcourse the wine was opened straight away whilst we all had a little chat and gossip then we all changed into our boardies( how aussie are
we becoming), well we changed into Lee's boardies and bikini and headed into Lee's pool along with Chandon the dog!
After a little dip we both decided to go on Lee's kayaks, Lee decided to give Lynn a crash course( literally) on how to use a kayak as Lynn has never used one. Lynn got into the kayak and realised that she couldn't steer the thing as she started going toward a boat across from Lee's house.
As you can all imagine Lynn started yelling out " Im going to crash into the boat, Im going to crash into the boat", YIP it happened Lynn went straight into a boat probably worth more than any of your houses! Then to make matters worse Lynn started shouting out " I have hit the boat", ofcourse at this point Lee was trying to quietly tell her to be quiet!!!
Meanwhile Frankie was on the beach watching everything hysterical laughing. Paradise Point "Scotland" has arrived!
Lynn then got the hang of it and we both went down the river looking at all the gorgeous houses.
Once we arrived back we were back on the wine, trust me it was flowing
all weekend. Lee's cousin Big Al and his friend Jay came down so we all played music and danced the night away( poor neighbours) then Lee made a scrumy dinner for us all in the middle of our dancing sessions.
It seemed like a late night but we were in beds just after 11pm after a lovely wee day.
Sunday morning we were woken up at 7.30am by the lovely Chandon jumping on our beds followed by Lee and Big Al and the camera( trust me no photos of us in pj's will be on here)!
Lee made a lovely breakfast for everyone along with champagne( We could really live this life), spoiled rotten we were!
We then got everything ready to go out on the boat along with the doggies- they love it trust me!
We got our picnic ready and off we set down the canal towards Soverign Hill and all the mansions. The boat ride was so relaxing, we both sat out on the front deck of the boat. It was relaxing until a big wave came up and soaked us both - how rude.
Salt water got into our wine!!!!!!
We sailed
down to surfers paradise then back up and stopped off at a little deserted island and had a delicious lunch which included home-made chocolate cupcakes( Lee Pritchard is a legend!). SPOILED ROTTEN !!!
We sailed back up to the house after a gorgeous day out on the boat.
Back at the house we did some more relaxing, watched some of Jaws the movie( glad we didnt watch it before we went out on the boat) and then headed back to Brisbane.
We came back feeling so relaxed and chilled out - thanks Lee and Christopher for a lovely weekend.
