O'Reillys

O'Reillys is where it's at !
To the bush we went ...Bruce took us and we went up, up, round, round, up, up and round a bit more until eventually we reach the top! Did an awesum treetop walk, shinned up a tree ...straight up a ladder and only 3 people allowed at a time ....eeeeek! I got half way up the first ladder and had to self-talk positively or else I would have come back down again! Lovely view from the top ....scary view down. Checked out the Botanical Garden area and then had lunch at the cafe. Went on a bush walk ...about an hour...didn't see any koala but did see some droppings and fur lol. Saw two dead kangaroos on the way up the mountain and one live one on the way down. Back to our apartment for a long soak in the spa pool and then out for dinner at one of the restaurants...a very nice end to the day.

Yes, they strangle the host tree and then before long there is no host left ...all gone. Bruce was appalled at this and tried on numerous occasions on our walk, to undo stranglers at work!
