Freshwater Croc
Day 21
Off to the wildlife sanctuary we go, currumbin sanctuary that is. And what an amazing place it is. A wide variety of animals on display and if you look hard enough you can even find your share of spiders and birds not on the list, Right upon entering you end up at the koala station where you can pay to hold one and have your picture taken, we opted to just take a few snaps from the fence. They sure look cuddly, that was Jackie’s favourite part. Both Jackie and Sean enjoyed getting up-close and petting the kangaroos though, I would have to say that was a very neat experience. After another hour of walking we seen some very healthy looking dingo’s and stopped in at the reptile show. Everyone was having a great day so far, and what could have made it better? A trip to the pub, that’s what. Lol. Its Thursday and that means raffle night, between 50 bucks in tickets we left with 2 breakfast trays, a meat tray, a case of beer, and I won a fruit box… how lame is that for a prize at a bar… but we did enjoy our
