I've been on Holidays!!! (7 months old)

The Essentials

Height: 72 cms
Weight: 8.5 kgs
Hours of sleep per night: Noah managed to sleep through 3 nights in a row this month! It was very exciting, but we think he is teething and this has put a stop to sleeping through! Just when we thought sleepless nights might be over!!!

This months firsts

This month Noah ...

1. Went on his first holiday - Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast QLD
2. Said his first word ... "dada" !!!
3. Said his second word ... "mama"!!!!
4. Pushed up to a sitting position from his tummy
5. Pulled to a standing position (using the couch and his cot as a lever)
6. Took 2 'crawling steps'
7. Watched G-Dad and Uncle David play basketball!!!
8. Fell asleep in his Jolly Jumper

Noah's first holiday!

Friends of our family Carol and Dave came up for a holiday to watch the Brisbane Lions play and were visiting the Sunshine Coast. So instead of driving there and back in one day we decided to stay for a couple of nights. Talk about moving an army Noah had more luggage than the four of us put together. Thankfully we managed to fit it all into the boot of mum and dad's car. The long trip up was made all the more faster by watching Finding Nemo (Noah's selection of course) on the dvd screens in the back of the car. We stayed at Mantra Zanzibar it was great right on the beachfront and above the main strip of restaurants/coffee shopes. Noah coped fairly well with the disruption to his routine... but we did pay for it with a few sleepless nights when we returned home. Noah had his first taste of a surf beach (litteraly...see pics) and enjoyed tastes of Turkish food.
