Rocky... the latest & greatest!

We stayed in Noosa for a bit, it was a busy town (especially on the weekends!) Byron counted over 50 people in the water at one point when we were out surfing!! (there was probably about 7 different points!) We went on a hike by the water there and got to spot some koalas! We also saw 2 snakes!! I jumped and screamed and deafened myself at the sight of both of them! I had never seen a wild snake on land before, not even a gardner snake!!
One of the nights we decided to contact a lady on couchsurfing and we were able to park our van outside of their house for a night, they had another couchsurfer for Canada at their house at the time and they cooked a great meal for us all, and we were able to have a warm shower  We tried Crocodile!! It was the tail so it was the ‘white meat’ it was tasty… chewy sort of a mix between chicken and fish.
At the moment (11th May) we are in a place called Yeppoon. It is on the coast just 40 minutes from Rockhampton which is located right on the Tropic of Capricorn! So its called the Capricorn Coast! There are a bunch of islands with the reef and what not around and have been told there is some hidden surf spots nearby! We had been told there isn’t really any surf this high because of the Great Barrier Reef but locals have informed us otherwise, which completely thrills us  I had a job interview yesterday at the Kepple Bay Marina, I would just be working in the little café. It seemed nice and I have a trial on Saturday morning, so if all goes well we will stay in the area and work here, its gorgeous!! We’ve done heaps of job hunting so soon we will be landing something sweet 

So happy for the update. Miss you so much and sorry we couldn't skype last weekend but I totally understand. I am in my berries just to have any sort of an update from ya's. I understand the lack of communication situation Miss u 2 pieces xoxoxoxox Mommy
