july 16 nursing my wounds. no spruiking. no news.
july 17 rain stopped. day of routine. swim and spa.
july 18 barby at yc $5. motored on catamaran along river at night.
july 19 footy cats thrash dogs in second half.
july 20 with twitchers to lake eachem in tablelands. golden whistler, fantail, scrub wren, tree creeper, lewin honeyeater, little shrike thrush, pale yellow robin, riflebird, wampoo pidgeon, brown gerigone, swamp and spotted harrier, fairy and tree martins, plumed and wandering ducks, darter, peid cormorant, richards pippit, mistletoe bird, kestrel, brown falcon, red browed finch and more! brolgas and saris crane.
july 21 rainy night and morning. read 'australian' in five star lobby. later swim and spa. haven't spruiked in weeks. did see car with sticker. blog lost zing. hanging on hoping for resurgance of spirit. waiting for weather in perth to rise from extraordinary winter lows so i can go home.
july 22 botanic garden bird walk. rainbow bee-eater, leaden flycatcher, white browed crake, yellow honeyeater. spotted sticker on car. paper, swim, spa, shower, beer. struggle with the human condition, on balmy night seems right.
july 23 rainy night and morning. esplanade walk for more bird watching. more wonders. swim spa beer.
