Arriving in Ozland!!!!!

Hi All :)
Well, it's been a while, but we've been working our asses off leaving little time for internet!
So, what have we been doing you might ask?

Somehow, luckily, I landed a job photographing for IKEA at an exhibition/festival/carnival in Brisbane the day after we arrived. Then, they picked Gary up for some graphic design. We worked 10 grueling days and in the end walked away with a giant chunk of money to head traveling with. EXCELLENT. Any shots from Brisbane I took... Gary did all the photo editing and graphics for the entire site.

While we were working, we also were very lucky with accommodation. You might all remember Teresa, the owner of the farm in Northern Ireland that I stayed at... well, she put us in touch with her friend Bruce (Down) and his wife Caetlin (Australia) and their two kids Felix and Max. They kindly took us in for the entire time we worked the Ekka. We couldn't believe it. It was an amazingly comfortable house, but more importantly, we had an amazing time with the family. We got to know them so well and experience live in this country a bit through a home here. It couldn't have been more amazing. You'll see pics of everyone. We will really miss them... but there are just some people you meet who you know will be lifelong friends.

Oh and we went to an Aussie rules game as well! Somehow my pics didn't work from there. Ugh.

So the other day we moved to a youth hostel and then I'll pick up the blog from there.

Oh... a couple more things... our arms are a bit sore as we got the inoculations for Asia yesterday.

And... as I love and miss phish desperately... my old boss contacted me from home and they wrote an article.

So... Tomorrow we fly to Cairns and we're going to stay at a kick ass hostel... in our tents... with a pool... by a beach and take a holiday after all this working we've done! yayyyyyyyyy
