Well here we are, the adventure is drawing to a close. With heavy hearts and sad coupons (faces for those not familiar with the Paisley lingo) we are leaving this wonderful country. We are sitting in Brisbane airport on Friday 13th ( :o ) waiting for our flight home to Scotland. Our last few days have been fun. Yesterday we relaxed in the sunny surroundings of Noosa. We had a well earned rest on the beach and spent some time in the local surf shops replenishing Billabong supplies. Rachel also bought a whole family of thongs of all colours. (flip flops for the Scots, not knickers) In the evening we enjoyed some lovely, yummy cocktails and then a MASSIVE seafood platter at our new found favourite restaurant, Bistro C, on the seafront. Today we travelled south and stopped at a few of the other holiday spots on the coast. None quite compared to Port Douglas or Noosa however! We have seriously considered contacting home/work/relatives/dogs/cats/husband complaining of symptoms suggestive of a serious case of the Bends resulting in an inability to fly for at least 2 weeks. However we realised that our carefully formed plan may be less than watertight when
the next blog entry showed a new set of diving photos and smiling, happy faces. We've had a fab trip and would totally recommend Oz as a holiday destination. We appreciate all the comments that we have received over the last few weeks. They have kept us entertained. More photos to follow on our return to (hopefully) sunny Scotland............
Signing off.......

hooray
hooray! No more dish washing, cleaning litter trays, feeding ourselves, it'll soon be back to normal and Liz will insist I go for chips. Glad you've both had a great time and glad you're on the way home.
