So the countdown has begun. This time in 48 hours I should be on my way to Auckland for a quick stop before heading on to Los Angeles for the night. Still have a shit tonne of stuff to pack for moving house tomorrow but apart from the malaria tablets and some other small things my bags for Central America are ready to go. Gonna keep this post short as its really only a tester but yeah I'm so fucking nervous right now its not even funny. Hopefully that will all change when I arrive on the other side of the planet. Julie and I have officially made some plans... hahah. We are leaving for Byron Bay on Wednesday morning and plan on staying there for a few days. We're slowly making our way down to Sydney where we plan on being for Australia day... hahah. We want to stay there for a week and a bit and then make our way to New Zealand. Exciting stuff! Since we will be leaving Jessy and John's humble abode, that means a lot less internet, meaning I will not be able to update this bad boy as often as I have been. Allllllrighty, the trip has finally started, and at the moment I am pooped so I might start to ramble and not make sense. It all started with about an 11 hour flight to Seoul. We then had an hour layover and stayed in Singapore for a day. When we landed in Singapore it was about 11:30pm, local time, and 29 degrees... my God!! All I pretty much knew about Singapore is that it's a city state and damn clean. And that it was! The people there were so friendly, and there was never a point where I felt unsafe. Endlich ist es soweit!!! Ich habe heute meine letzte Pruefung geschrieben. Aber es war nicht irgendeine Pruefung, es war (hoffentlich) die letzte Pruefung fuer mein ganzes Studium und dass noch dazu in Australien! Ich fuehl mich unglaublich erleichtert - obwohl die Klausuren nicht gerade einfach waren. Egal, vorbei ist vorbei und jetzt kann ich mich nach dem wochenlangen Lernen endlich auf das Reisen freuen! Heut abend wird erstmal richtig gefeiert, Klausuren und Abschiedsfeier in einem, denn am Montag geht es los in Richtung Norden, Cairns. Bis dahin noch alles packen und heimschicken und losgehts! Nachdem ich die ganze Zeit Reise werde ich nicht viel zum Schreiben kommen. Deswegen gibt es vorab einen Bericht zu meiner geplanten Reiseroute. Vorlaeufige Reiseroute: 16.6. Tja, wieder ein Jahr aelter! Aber diesmal faellt die alljaehrliche Geburtstagsdepression aus, denn ich hab mein groesstes Ziel erreicht, ich bin in Australien! Und vor allem haett ich nie mit solch tollen Ueberraschungen gerechnet. 1. Um Punkt Mitternacht nach Australischer Zeit (und ich bin hier um 8 Stunden aelter als zu Haus) hat mir als erstes mein Philipp gratuliert. Fast gleichzeitig bekam ich Glueckwuensche von Tanja (die mein Zimmer gestuermt hat), Ferdl und Christine (die mir als erste was vorgesungen hat!). Um 1 dann endlich mal ins Bett und schlafen. 2. Um 6 Uhr morgens dann ein Anruf, von meinem kleinen Bruder, ich soll schnell mal bei Skype online gehen. Ganz verschlafen schalt ich meinen Lappi ein und geh online. Und was erwartet mich da? Ich wuensch allen frohe Ostern! Leider kennen die Australier kein Osterfleisch, kein Osterbrot, keinen frisch geriebenen Krenn.... Einfach all das, was Ostern fuer mich ausmacht! Und nachdem der Osterhase wohl auch nicht vorbeischaut um mir a Schoko oder aehnliches zu hinterlassen, faellt Ostern heuer leider aus... Also hab ich mir ein Alternativprogramm ueberlegt und bin zum Entschluss gekommen, mich mit 5 Deutschen (davon 4 Juristen!) ins Abenteuer Great Ocean Road zu stuerzen.
