Today we did the Scooteroo Tour which was really good! At first I was a bit nervous, because I've never driven one before but it was pretty easy. There was about 35 of us that went out and it was fun. The choppers go upto 80km, which is 50mph, and I managed to hit that so I was pretty happy with myself. At first I was going 30 and was like Oh God, but then after a while that seems really slow as you get used to it.
We set off at about 3.30 I think and I got a really cool helmet with the bike to match. You'll see from the pics! :) Though I looked like a total idiot in my helmet (Or a tellytubby as Becky said ...thanks) But we were all in the same boat so it was ok. We just drove around the area, kinda racing each other abit on some parts and just taking in the views etc, and then stopped to see kangaroos at one point.
We posed for pictures, and then later on one girl crashed her bike and had to be taken to hospital. I didn't see but aparently
her jaw was bleeding really bad, so after that the mood was bit down. I think everyone kinda slowed down a little bit and then was back to normal after 5 minutes. We headed to the beach to watch the sunset, which we did whilst eating potato wedges with a sweet chilli dip and a nice cold drink. Sweet :) After that it was getting dark so we had to put our lights on, and headed back, returning to the Hostel around 7ish. So we got about a 3 and a half hour Drive which was $45 I think ...which was definitely worth. Apparently its one of the best value for money tours on the Coast.
