After a beautiful continental breakfast the students head off for the ULURU CAMEL TOURS. All the students are excited, some a little nervous, to be riding on outback single humped camels. This particular type of camel is known as a dromedary.

Tiffany Williams, in further enriching her understanding and love of Latin, discovered that these animals are known as "dromedarius camelus". She spoke this in perfect Latin for the rest of the student group, impressing the film crew with her incredible linguistic skills

How cute is the 2 month old baby camel...
The students had the opportunity to feed this baby camel, who alone drinks 10 750ml bottles of formula a day. This baby camel was found abandoned in the outback after it's mother was attacked by dingoes. The camel is now in the care of the ULURU CAMEL CAMP.
