The Outback

Hey Guys! This thing (Uluru) is really glowing! We thought it gets a little bit more shiner or something when the sun sets... but it DOES glow! Useless to say that we are HOT HOT HOT here! Yeah - just the way we like it!
Things are super busy: we went to Uluru rock, hiked around it, watched it in the sunrise, in the sun set, from distant and from close ... what was there to do 'with' it - we certainly did it!

We also went to Kata Tjuta: another set of 'rocks'. Less famous but super for a little bit thougher hikes... Still very 'martian looking'.

So... this 'etappe' is going as planned, even though the feeling is a little bit of a booth-camp: we get out at 5.15 am (before sunrise) and walk min 15km per day... But - it's worth every effort! And today is a 'pool' day...

Unfortunately - here in the outback there is no chance to load the pictures... so - will load them also for this section on the next internet station we come across... so keep an eye on this blog, 'cause we have a picture showing the thing really glowing! ;-)

hallo jonglui gelukkig hebben jullie nu ook aangenamer weer dan bij de aankomstdagen. momenteel hebben we hier zonnig weer, het lijk al volop zomer. dus we genieten volop van onze tuin. hebben jullie de flying doctors al gezien? Loes en Iliane zijn gisteren geweest, hebben hier gegeten en zijn daarna gaan shoppen , het was gezellig. Ruben gaat ook goed op zijn werk, hij moet vandaag voetballen. Morgen gaan we naar Assen naar Pop en Sjoukje te fietsen, je vader kan dan niet naar Heerenveen Feyenoord! Maar er zijn ergere dingen. Zo meteen gaan we wandelen met Friso om zijn en onze conditie wat op peil te houden. Jullie lopen ook 15 km per dag , met de Pieterpad liep ik ongeveer 30 km per dag, dus dat moeten jullie deze oude vrouw nog in kunnen halen. Heel veel plezier en lekker genieten , mooi dat jullie ons zo op de hoogte houden, en kunnen via jullie programma alles mooi bijhouden Tot mails en voorzichtig! Pa en ma
