A day of rest for the Lord on Easter Sunday…….. ahh pish Bring on the Cavenagh!!

Current Mood: Where are my Easter Eggs? Maybe I should become religious?!?!?

Well After a Great Shift following the Footy on Bathurst Island the week had a nice ending to it!! As said Before we normally Work 9 days on with a 5 Day break but this week and as it was Easter.. We were given the weekend off with Pay! With a clause in it……… We had to get pissed in the Cav on Easter Sunday as a company for one of the Girls birthdays that fell on that same weekend!! Happy Birthday Megan!! What a horrible thing to do to us ay!! Make me come back from the island on Easter… to drink at some bodies Birthday party on a Sunday sesh Day and be paid for it….. the bastards hahaha I lapped it right up!!

So on the Saturday afternoon after we had walked the Bush, myself, Matty and Rob were the only ones left on the island that were flying back for the Birthday drink!! So like Porn stars we rocked up to the airstrip to see that we had a jet to our selves that would get us back to Darwin in time for

Cavenagh stylea Saturday night of drinking!! By 6 o’clock I was more than into my Second beer!! The funny thing was that on arrival to the Cav I hooked up with Brett and was told of the forgotten to me speed dating that was being launched this weekend!! What this meant was there were tonnes of storming ladies walking about all having a go at it or just there in support of friends!! The night was so funny Having met some of the old crew from the island… getting trashed with Brett…. and having a crack at the ladies but I was still taking it easy as tomorrow would be the session of doom!!

Sunday Morning…. Happy Easter Guys……. I was on route to the cav by 11.30am!! I was more than Game!! Straight away I was greeted by Megan (the birthday girl) and Jodie, two of the women from work getting straight into tequila’s with Megs and the copious amounts of Tooheys with the others! As the day progressed we got lairy and the pool got abused!! The day was a cracker and having the Monday off to recover was a bonus!!
