continuing

so i went to my room to go out for dinner and met some people in my room. 3 guys from scottland and a girl from england, her name is pamela and we got along very well. one of the scottish guys pamela and me went out for dinner at a thai restraunt. it was a bring your own alcohol like most of the restraunts so we brought some wine to the dinner. we talked for a long time there getting to know each other. me and pamela had alot in common. (if i go to new zealand i might travel around with her) after dinner we went back to the hostel to get ready to go out to a bar called the palace. the other scottish boys joined us and it was alot of fun.
the following day was nice but a little windy me and pamela decided to go to the beach. but it soon got to windy so we went out for lunch. it started to get colder so we went back to the hostel to do some laundry and get some sleep, that night we relaxed and watched tv.
sunday i was leaving to go back to central sydney but not until later, it wasnt that nice out so me and pamela went to bondi junction a very large mall there the biggest in the southern hemisphere i think. it was sad to say good bye to a good friend and i made my way to central sydney where i stayed in the wake up hostel which is very nice and looks like a hotel rather then the hostels i had stayed at. i walked around some more but nothing too intresting was around since i had been in sydney for almost 2 weeks, but i had talked to my friend krystal and she was going to be in town the following day so it would be nice to see someone from home.
monday me and krystal met up (after she got lost trying to find me haha) and we had lunch and spent the day shopping. i took her to some places she hadnt been such as china town and then she took me out for a nice expensive dinner with her aunt which was a nice treat. we had a great view of the sydney harbour bridge and the oprah house. we walked around the rest of the night and went out for a game of pool and a drink and then said our goodbyes.(she left the next day for home).
tuesday i was getting ready to leave and rolled my ankle which really hurt and couldnt walk for hours but i eventually got to walking and was ready by the time my bus came to go to newcastle. i arrived at new castle late in the day at about 4 45 and easily found my hostel. the yha hostel there was pizza night for 5 dollars all you could eat so i did that and walked around the beach. there wasnt much in new castle but the beach was very nice, that is where i spent the following day.
after spending the day at the beach i had burnt my back a little bit. that night was free bbq night with the hostel and what seemed like everyone from the hostel went to a bar called the brewery and enjoyed our free bbq and had some cheap drinks. i got to know some very nice people including a girl from oregon.
thursday was the day i left for port mcquarie
