Mt Warning - (Uki) - (Mullumbimbi) - Bangalow
Began the day with Mt Warning’s: Magical Wollumbin's 1156 feet!!! But that’s not possible for me - a 4- hour strenuous walk?! I have MS - I can’t do that! So I wasn’t going to… but I did! I just stopped feeling sorry for myself, and decided I was not going to be this close and not climb the damn volcano. Birds whipping, chuckling, gossiping, grunting, gobbling, crying, cackling & singing. And all before breakfast time. Rain in the rainforest, funny that…bringing out the scents of years past… and I was delighting in lawn mowings hahaha! Not one mozzie bite nor leach sucker and yet to reveal a buried tic. The buzz of the dragonflies did almost throw me off my feet though. Thoroughly exhausted. Despite my 11 hours sleep last night (what else is there to do when it gets dark out bush), I know I’ll sleep well tonight. Ahh, blessed…
Back roads with intention though and by accident: lush, lush, lush. But just how many times can one seriously take a wrong turn without actually making a turn?! Sheesh! Just as well I am choosing to let go of linear time for these moments Sporadically sensing that feeling of having been here before… but more than a brain synapse misfiring, a knowing… like remembering a dream, but actually remembering myself in another now… realigning myself with me…. So strange yet so right. Mt Jerusalem National Park has bumpy bumpy roads!
Honoured and blessed to be accepted with little time notice into a friend’s home for tea, dinner & a hot shower - A lovely sharing with A’s mum, thank you wonderful woman. Aahhh, blessed.
