This travel blog entry describes how you can view the videos I uploaded to some other website. There are currently the following videos in the following folders:
In the folder “00 Iguazu”
* Overview of the falls
In the folder “01 Carnival”
* Paraguay (bit of flesh)
* Salvador (overview of the street)
* Porto Seguro (more flesh, guys you will like this one).
In the folder “02 Rio”
* 180 degree view over Rio
In the folder “03 Bogota”
* Vault of the museum of gold
In the folder "04 Lost City"
* Overview of the city with nice scenery
In the folder "05 Galapagos Islands"
* Attack of the boobies. A horde of boobies diving for fish
In the folder "06 Machu Picchu"
* Overview of Machu Picchu
* Overview of Machu Picchu from Huayna Picchu
You will need the QuickTime plug-in for your web browser. If you do not already have the plug-in then you can download the whole QuickTime package here
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html for free. You know that QuickTime is not installed if your web browser asks you if you want to save the file.
All videos are quite big so if you do not have a very fast connection then you will need patience…
The videos are stored on an German website but it’s not very complicated to view them. Just follow these instructions.

Click on this link (valid until 11.7.2006)
* In the website that pops up click on “GMX MediaCenter starten”. Another website will pop up.
* Select the appropriate subfolder (e.g. “01 Carnival” if you want to se the video from Salvador)
* Click on the video you want to see. A separate window should pop open and the download should start. Sometimes IE tries to be very smart and does not allow the video to be downloaded. If this happens a yellow strip will appear at the top of the page. Right click it and choose the first option.
* Wait a long time and then enjoy the show. The QuickTime plug-in is quite straightforward and has the usual play pause and stop buttons. You can also use the slider on the bottom to go to any bit that you liked.
The link to the website is only valid for 30 days. If you have problems accessing the videos please let me know and I will change the link.
