Everybody needs good Neighbours!

Thought i better get a blog up since i've not done it in a while! First of all just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you all!! It's very strange celebrating Christmas over here! It doesn't actually feel like Christmas, so we went out today and bought some tinsel and hats to decorate our hostel room!

We're back in the city and loving it! We're staying in a hostel on Pitt Street right beside World Square. It's quite like being back in Thailand actually!!

We went to a Neighbours Trivia Night on Sunday, it was fantastic! We had so much fun! We met Irish Connor, Janelle Timmins, Declan and Marco! I stood up to get my photo taken with Connor and he was like wow you are really tall, then he thought he offended me, which he didn't, so he gave me a hug, but there were no complaints from me! Then the same happened when Marco came over, i actually love being tall! We came 4th in the quiz, we have brains!! I think the name The Haggis Hunters will have to be used in all quizzes now, i think it is lucky!!

We then headed off to Scruffy Murphy's for a drink, which obviously ended up being one too many!! Me and Jill stumbled back to the room at 1am which you probably think is early but we had been on it since 3, so we didn't do too badly! We thought we were being quiet and didn't want to wake Becky and Nicola but seemingly as quiet as we thought plus i had the light on, then off, then back on again, goodness only knows what i trying to do!

Monday night we headed down to Darling Harbour which is only a five minute walk and went to the IMAX to see Haunted Castle. It wasn't actually that scary but we still managed to scream through most of it. It's quite scary when bats fly right in your face and stupid skeleton things are right in front of you!!

Well tomorrow is Christmas so we are heading to Bondi Beach (where else would we go!). Utah Saints are playing. It starts at 12 and finishes at 10. Let's just hope it's nice and sunny for us! At least we will have some heat unlike you guys back in Scotland!!
