the rest of the week

after i booked into the hostel i walked around and did some shopping. in my hostel i met a girl named amy she is korean and she is trying to get a job in hospitality/tourism, it was finally nice to have some company so we went out to dinner at a place called scuffy mcgruffs an irish pub. then walked around darling harbour. in my hostel was a a family a 10 year old girl her mom and grandma staying there it was really sad, they woke up at 3:30 am to go out somewhere and woke everyone up which was kinda annoying. other then that the hostel was good.
the following day i went on a tour of the blue mountains. there were 21 people in a small bus and we went to see some wild life where we saw lots of cockatoos and 1 grey kangaroo it was nice seeing it in the wild opposed to the zoo. the day started out nice but began to get cloudy once we arrived to the blue mountains, they were very blue. they went on for miles. we stopped at 4 different view points, we also saw the 3 sisters and a nice waterfall. they have the steepest railway there, its amazing that they ever used it to haul up coal. they have made it into a ride up and down the mountain so a group of people from my tour walked down the mountain (in the blue mountains) and took the railway cart up. it was VERY steep. we then headed back and on the way stopped at the sydney olympic park. it isnt used much any more. when i got back to my hostel it was very crazy, the red carpet premier for australia was being showed. i couldnt stay to watch it since i had to be out of my hostel. so i caught a bus to bondi beach and met a girl named lindsay from edmonton on the bus we exchanged numbers so i will meet up with her. i got to my hostel and met some of the girls, it was a much better enviroment here. the girls were from holland, chile, england and ireland. it was about nine and raining so i went out and had something to eat and went to bed.
the next day wasnt very nice out and very rainy so i went shopping and walked all around bondi beach. by dinner time it cleared up and i went to the baeach and read. there were still many surfers at this time. one of the girls from my room had invited me out to dinner with a large group from the hostel, it was 7 dollar steak night at the rats it was very good. i sat at a table with 2 english girls and an english guy they were very nice. after dinner i went with one of the english girls and 3 others girls and a guy to see the movie sex drive which was very funny.
on thursday the weather was nice so i went to the beach. it was sunny and cloudy on and off so it got a biut cold sometimes and the water was freezing!!!! it was like icecubes. the girl from chile went to the beach with me for most of the day. i went out for dinner and when i got back to the hostel i talked to one of the dutch girls in my room, we were talking about the differences in our country. after an hour the bristish girls asked me to join them in playing a drinking game so i went down stairs and spent the rest of my night doing that, it was very fun and met lots of people, unfortunatly i was leaving the next day to go to coogee beach.
friday(today)- was a beautiful day so i figured out the bus route to coogee beach and checked in my hostel and went out to the beach. i am proud to say i havent burnt yet, but i am tanned.
