The Morning Show

Wowee! What a day we had! It all started very early at 4.30am. Noah was the last into the car in an effort to not disturb his sleep, but as usual Noah had his own plan and was awake when we went into his room to get him. Noah travelled extremely well on the plane only really crying on the decent into Sydney and even fell asleep as we were taxing into the airport! After waiting for a taxi with a carseat we headed into the city, thankfully we were about an hour ahead of peak hour traffic! After a quick ensable change for Noah we were taken into the Sunrise studio to watch the WIGGLES!

About half way through their song I was taken down to make up and met up with Kai and a few other guests who were going to be on the Morning Show including; Jason Hodges (better homes and gardens), the guy that does the DIY segment on better homes and gardens, Mike Whitney and Helen from dancing with the stars. We also met Peter Fitzsimons while sitting in the Green Room (a hallway with a few chairs and a couch). When I got back up stairs I found out Noah had a photo with the Wiggles and loved every minute of the attention!

After sitting around for a bit it was time to get frocked up in Mum's dress. Then we headed into the studio and met Kylie and Barretts. Both were very nice Barretts came over and introduced himself and asked how to say Issever correctly. During the taped peice at our show Kylie was commenting on how much beaded jewlery I had. Afterwards Kylie wanted to know where I got my green jacket from and what brand it was!!! HAHAHA

Noah fell asleep in his stroller just before I went on so mum was able to come in and take some photos and made a new friend in Barretts by saying GO CATS! They had bit of a chat about the old days growing up in Geelong and even posed for a photo with us.

We had such a blast and Noah's new best friend Kai is planning to visit us when he is on the coast next week (but we'll see if he actually does).


After changing we headed off to meet Uncle Hans and Mavis for lunch. On our walk to the Queen Victoria Building we we bombarded by some people trying to get a crowed to the Telstra shop to meet Stephanie Rice and Sophie Edington (Swimmers from the Australian Olympic Team). Since Robert is in LOVE with Stephanie we decided to come back and meet her and get him and autograph!

We then headed to Darling Harbour for a very yummy lunch at Baia Italian Restaurant. Then back to the airport for the trip home. Noah was finally allowed to get loose while we were hanging in the Qantas Lounge! We he met a young American guy who had flown in that day to a) surprise his girlfriend and b) propose to her mid-flight!!!! We were sooo excited to be in on the secret! Mum couldn't keep her mouth shut (thankfully the girl was in row 18 and we were in 5) but the hosties told us she was only a few people in front of us in line! It was great the plan went smoothly. He started by playing music over the plane intercom (the hostie had to go and ask the girl to remove her ipod so she could hear it), she apparently teared up as soon as she heard the song. Then Russel (since were mates with him now too!) stood up and said 'lady's and gentelmen on the plane there is someone very special to me on the plane...' it was fantastic the plane broke out in cheers and clapping! She came up the isle and he got on one knee it was great!

And that's our day! By the time we got home at 7.30 we were exhusted Noah feel asleep on the plane and was out to it for the rest of the night and I was not far behind.
