I've done two days of data entry now and I actually really like it! Everyone is really nice and the job is easy and the pay is really really good! It's nice to feel appreciated again... my boss today said that she's not even going to check what I did today because everything I did yesterday was perfect - and they're all so surprised that I get through everything so fast that they're running out of things for me to do. It's a really really great feeling. The company is a textbook distributor of legal material.. and tomorrow is casual Friday which means jeans and t-shirts. yay! I think they're going to be surprised that I'm only 5'7" after towering over them in my heels for two days.

So now I'm sitting down with a good cup of tea and some Tim Tams (dark chocolate is the best) and relaxing before I sleep early to wake up early tomorrow and do it all again. I'm eating Tim Tams the way they should be eaten - as I was so wisely taught by Marianne... you bite opposing corners off, then suck tea/coffee/hot chocolate through, and the second that you feel liquid at your mouth, you eat the cookie - FAST so it doesn't MELT! Meeting up with a high school friend tomorrow - Greg. Will be pretty cool! We used to ride the bus together every day and he's only here for another week. Craziness!

So Monday night I went out to Bondi to have dinner with Neil, then Tuesday I went to the park since it was absolutely gorgeous outside! Then went to see Rize - a documentary about krumping and other dance forms in south central LA and the social implications of choosing a life of dance versus gang related activities. Very very good. Had a french lesson after that and Raphaelle was awesome as always - she taught me all sorts of swear words and silly sayings (yes mum, that's what your money is going towards...). This has been a week of vocabulary! Neil taught me beer phrases:
-throwdown: the tiny VB bottles
-stubbies: regular VB bottles cuz they're... well.. stubby.
-midi's: small glasses of beer
-schooners: medium glasses of beer

I feel like an Aussie again.
Really, no interesting photos as of late. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in another post but I won a $200 gift voucher!! There was a student survey that they distributed around the residence and if you completed it, you got entered into a draw. Now I have a feeling that I was the only one who entered, because this kind of thing doesn't happen to me very often! So I chose for it to be for coles/myer so that I can buy groceries. Yay groceries!

I just graduated from university and even though I've traveled a lot, this is my first big solo trip - hopefully many more to come! I will be spending almost all of September 2005 in Italy with one backpack and two pairs of shoes (very difficult for me to leave the other 40 pairs behind! j/k) Hopefully this will be an easier method to keep in touch with people at home. Message me!!!... full info
