Hong Kong to Sydney

Arrived in Sydney yesterday morning, woke Kenji up after only one hour of sleep after his night shift, and we went to run errands. I'm staying just outside of the CBD, close to Chinatown and right across from the Broadway Shopping Centre. I really like it here... Have included some photos from both Hong Kong and from here so far. Kenji and I took three great shots yesterday that I will upload later since they're on his computer.

Started off with lunch at Darling Harbour at this great seafood place which cost a bundle but was worth it. Had gelati at a new place - gelatissimo, and then did some shopping (eg. shampoo, lotion, tim tams.) Had a drink at a bar around the corner and played a drinking game which left both Kenji and I slightly sloshed... walked through Hyde Park which is holding this AMAZING photo exhibit right now, right in the middle of the park walkway... and it's these huge photos blown up and the colors... absolutely phenomenal. then walked to his place and met his roommates, Keith showed me all these really cool card tricks! And then he had to go to work. boo.

Have been quite productive today - got a real estate agent, booked an appointment with the temp agency for tomorrow morning, set up internet in my room, finalized rent details with the rental office here, did more groceries, actually bought cleaning supplies this time which means that my place is going to be clean! yay!

Am just about to head off to Chinatown to try and fix my cell phone and get that sorted... and I think I'll go to the Aquarium tomorrow!! Very exciting. I like it here.
